SO and AEM technologies combined will account for less than 1% or 0.04 GW/year of the total operational electrolyzer manufacturing capacity. If all the projects aimed at increasing electrolyzer production capacity materialize, by 2025, alkaline technologies will continue to account for 53% or 4.05 GW/year of the total operational electrolyzer manufacturing capacity in Europe. PEM technologies will follow with 35% or 2.66 GW/year.
