Aliphatic hydrocarbons are increasingly used as carriers, emollients, and solvents due to their chemical inertness, low toxicity, and compatibility with active ingredients. Sustainability-focused innovations are gaining traction. Water-based formulations, bio-derived alkanes, and low-VOC solvent technologies are increasingly integrated into industrial applications. These advancements reduce environmental impact while maintaining the performance advantages of aliphatic hydrocarbons, aligning with global sustainability trends and regulatory requirements.
